INTERNET OF THINGS
“Today PCs, Laptops, Smartphone’s and, therefore, the internet are completely dependent on human beings for gaining or collecting information. A total of roughly 50 petabytes of data available on the internet were first captured and designed by us the ‘human beings’ by typing, pressing a record button, taking a digital picture or scanning a bar code. But today, people don’t have time, attention and accuracy for capturing data about everything from the real world that is happening.
So what does the Internet of Things really mean? In simple words, we can say that it’s machine-to-machine communication, but it’s much more than just connected devices. The topic itself is very vast to discuss.
The Internet of Things is the internetworking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as “smart devices” and “connected devices” ), buildings, and other items—embedded with electronics, actuators, network connectivity and software, sensors, thatpermit these objects to collect and exchange data.In 2013 the Global Standards Initiative on Internet of Things defined the IOT as “the infrastructure of the information society. The IOT lets objects to be sensed and/or controlled remotely across present network infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems and resulting in enhanced efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit in addition to reduced human involvement.Although things, the Internet, and connectivity are the three basic components of IOT, the value is in closing the gap between the physical and digital world in self-reinforcing and self-improving systems.
Internet of Things ecosystem:
All the components that enable businesses, governments, and buyers to connect to their IOT devices, including remotes, dashboards, networks, gateways, analytics, data storage, and security.
Entity: Includes governments, businesses and consumers.
Physical layer: The hardware that makes an IOT device, including sensors and networking gear.
Network layer: Responsible for transmitting the data collected by the physical layer to many other devices.
Application layer: It includes the protocols and interfaces that devices use to identify and communicate with each other.
Remotes: It Enables entities that utilize IOT devices to connect with and control them by using a dashboard, such as a mobile application.
Dashboard: It Displays information about the IOT ecosystem to users and enables them to control their IOT ecosystem. It is usually housed on a remote.
Analytics: Software systems that examine the data generated by IOT devices. The analysis can be used for a range of scenarios, such as predictive maintenance.
Data storage: Where data from IOT devices is to be stored.
Networks: This layer enables the entity to communicate with their device, and sometimes enables devices to communicate with each other.
The following are some of the top IOT platforms on the market today:
- Microsoft Azure
- IBM’s Watson
- Cisco IOT Cloud Connect
- Sales force IOT Cloud
- Oracle Integrated Cloud
- IOT Security & Privacy
- Amazon Web Services
The idea is that all of our devices will be able to communicate with each other to assist users in businesses in doing their jobs, with exacting influence on hospitals and factories. But General hijacking the conversation on the Internet of Things shouldn’t hide the truth that this isn’t a new thought, argues David, along with his guest, Adrian Bowles, founder and CEO at STORM Insights Inc.

The main purpose of the Internet is offering effective information sharing and communication globally using computers. Notably, the Internet is the biggest player in the realization of the concept of globalization today. With the Internet, the world has become a global village. A person can now communicate comfortably with anyone in corner of the world.
We can Create machine to solve worked easily, and seems that solve long calculation in few seconds, our mind invent new robot like machine we are expect that some work easily sort out.
